Tailings 2024 Conference

LSI LASTEM is pleased to announce its participation in Tailings 2024, the 10th international conference on tailings management, which will be held from 12 to 14 June 2024 at the Sheraton Santiago Hotel in Chile. This prestigious event brings together executives, professionals and academics in the sector global mining industry to explore and discuss the latest developments and best practices in the transportation, disposal, control and monitoring of tailings storage facilities, whether conventional, densified, bonded or filtered.

Representing LSI LASTEM, Greta Tresoldi, Product and Marketing Manager, will give a presentation on the first day of the conference. His talk will focus on Automated Geoelectrical Monitoring to Assess the Structural Integrity of TSF in Real Time: Case Studies and will offer a detailed analysis on the use of advanced technologies for real-time monitoring of tailings storage facilities (TSF). Through various case studies, Greta Tresoldi will illustrate how automated geoelectrical monitoring can help ensure the safety and operational efficiency of mining plants.
