New STB: Signal Transducer Box
Usable especially in monitoring applications in photovoltaic systems, we have created the STB apparatus. STB (Signal Transducer Box) supports the MSB (Modbus Sensor Box) model with which instead of obtaining an RS485 digital output with Modbus protocol, 4-20 mA outputs are obtained.
This new device converts the signals coming from sensors such as pyranometers (µV), air temperature sensors and module surfaces (Pt100 or thermocouples) and anemometers (Hz) to obtain 4 analogue outputs.
- N.1 input (18 bit) from pyranometers with programmable calibration factor (μV, mV) Programmable sensitivity
- DEA420.1: n.2 Pt100 inputs (3-wires)
- DEA402.2: n.1 Pt100 input (3-wires), n.1 T thermocouple input
- N.1 pulse/frequency input
- Internal temperature sensor
- Terminal block for input signals
- Output statistical values for each parameter (min, average, max, standard dev.)
- Power supply 9÷30 Vdc
- IP65 protection
- N.1 RS232 port: for setup
- Alternative protocols configurable on RS232 port: TTY or CISS (LSI LASTEM proprietary protocol)
- Configuration with Terminal Emulation program (HyperTerminal, Miniterm,…)
