the monitoring network of the Interreg Italy \u2013 Croatia Adriadapt Project\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-570bb12 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"570bb12\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The\u00a0<em><strong>Automatic Weather Station<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0installed by LSI Lastem in<strong>\u00a0Cervia<\/strong>\u00a0becomes part of the network of stations of the Interreg Italy-Croatia Project \u201cAdriadapt- resilience information platform for Adriatic cities and towns\u201d, of which Cervia is a Pilot Municipality.<\/p><p>This project addresses the issue of\u00a0<strong>climate change<\/strong>\u00a0to identify useful actions to promote local and regional resilience by developing the knowledge base necessary to identify adequate planning and climate adaptation options.<\/p><p>The goal is supported by four actions:<\/p><ol><li>produce high-resolution datasets and projections that provide detailed and reliable information on climate-related impacts in regions<\/li><li>create a climate information system or knowledge platform for the Adriatic region containing best practices, guidance documents, legal frameworks and climate and vulnerability studies<\/li><li>test and integrate the knowledge platform in selected Italian and Croatian pilot cities as well as extended urban areas where adaptation and resilience plans will be designed<\/li><li>maintain and disseminate information.<\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Cervia<\/strong>\u00a0is a \u201cpilot\u201d Municipality for the process of collecting, analyzing and processing data, relating to the particular identified criticalities, including the macro-theme of urban heat islands.<\/p><p>To investigate this aspect, it was essential to introduce a\u00a0<strong>climate mapping<\/strong>\u00a0activity at climate level and space-time monitoring: through the LSI Lastem professional\u00a0<a href=\"\/en\/prodotti-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>weather station<\/strong><\/a>, capable of accurately monitoring the main environmental parameters: temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, pressure, precipitation and solar radiation.<\/p><p>The Municipality of Cervia, which has about 30,000 inhabitants, is located on the coast of Emilia-Romagna.
