The thermal monitoring system installed in the workshop makes use of microclimatic stations equipped with\u00a0LSI LASTEM sensors<\/b>. The technicians, during the periodic maintenance operations, compare the measurements with the certified instrumentation. The measured parameters are:<\/p>

  • Relative humidity;<\/li>

    Thanks to a\u00a0data logger<\/b>\u00a0connected to reference sensors, technicians can compare the measurements and\u00a0verify<\/b>\u00a0that they fall within the\u00a0acceptable ranges<\/b>. For example, a thermo-hygrometer that measures the air temperature must guarantee accuracy within the limit of \u00b10.5\u00b0 compared to the reference instrumentation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

These places, especially when operators work with\u00a0machinery<\/b>, are subject to an\u00a0increase in temperature<\/b>, both of the air and of the radiant temperature generated by the machinery.<\/p>

    These microclimatic stations carry out continuous measurements of the fundamental environmental parameters, provide instantaneous results and calculate the\u00a0WBGT\u00a0<\/b>(Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) index. This is one of the main indicators used to\u00a0evaluate heat stress<\/b>\u00a0and provides indications on the thermal state of the environment. The\u00a0ISO7243 standard<\/b>\u00a0establishes quantitative limits not to be exceeded in order to preserve workers\u2019 safety and prevent potential dangers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
